A MAN has been banned from a Bradford retail park for a spate of thefts from sports shops.

Jack Scott, 43, of Upper Piccadilly, Bradford, was told he must not enter Forster Square Retail Park, Bradford, for six months after being convicted of a number of shop thefts there.

He was also given a community order for the offences, which included a six-week curfew with electronic monitoring.

In the first offence, he stole trainers worth £47.99, from Sports Direct, Forster Square Retail Park, on January 26, 2022.

In the second charge, he stole two pairs of shoes, worth £90 each, from Sports Direct, Forster Square Retail Park, Bradford, on January 24, 2022.

He also stole Puma shoes, worth £47.99, from Sports Direct at the retail park, on January 4, 2022.

Scott also stole £223 worth of clothing from JD Sports at Forster Square Retail Park, on January 28, 2022.

He was also convicted of another charge of failing to surrender to police/court bail at the appointed time, at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates' Court, on February 24, 2022.

Scott pleaded guilty to all of the charges he faced when he was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates' Court on February 28, 2022.
