THE blue and yellow flags of Ukraine have been flying in Bradford's City Park this afternoon as the city's Ukrainian community held a rally for people to show their support.
The rally continues until 2pm with people from all walks of life gathering while the conflict with Russia rages on in the Eastern European country's main cities, capital and ports.
Cllr Matt Edwards tweeted on behalf of his Bradford Green Party: "Amazing turn out in City Park. Well done to those that organised it."
The event was also an opportunity for people to donate to the fundraising for the beleaguered country. The fundraising page can be found at: https://bit.ly/35q1rUo
