THE bomb squad attended a vehicle in the Bradford district after a hand grenade was found following a house clearance.
Police put a cordon in place after being made aware of the vehicle on Moor Drive, Oakworth, this afternoon.
An Army EOD team was sent to the scene and confirmed there was no danger to the public.
A spokesperson from police said: "Police attended a vehicle at Moor Drive, Oakworth, at around 3:10 pm today after what was believed to be a hand grenade was found while conducting a house clearance.
"An Army EOD team was sent to the scene and confirmed there was no danger to the public.
"A cordon was put in place and part of the road was closed as a precaution."
