A MAN has been jailed for a spate of shop thefts including stealing Yankee Candles, Lol toys and wallpaper.

Allen Williams, 42, of West Bank Close, Keighley was jailed for a total of 36 weeks for a number of theft from a shop offences. They were:

  • He was committed to prison for four weeks and ordered to pay a £128 victim surcharge for stealing 20 packs of Unstoppable washing tablets, worth £159.80, from B&M, Cavendish Street, Keighley, on January 24, 2022.
  • He was jailed for four weeks for stealing LOL toys, worth £179.85, from B&M, Cavendish Street, Keighley, on January 27, 2022.
  • He was committed to prison for four weeks for stealing a roll of wallpaper, worth £12.50 and nine Yankee candles, worth £135, from B&M, Cavendish Street, Keighley.
  • Williams was committed to prison for two weeks for stealing two bottles of vodka, worth £29.98, from Aldi, Keighley, on February 2, 2022.
  • He was committed to prison for two weeks for stealing an odeno fleece, worth £65.99, from Trespass, Airedale Shopping Centre, on February 10, 2022.
  • He was jailed for four weeks for stealing toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors and shampoo, worth £206.44, from B&M, Cavendish Street, Keighley, on February 10, 2022.
  • He was jailed for four weeks, to run concurrently, for breaching a criminal behaviour order by entering Keighley town centre, on January 24, 2022.
  • He was committed to prison for four weeks, to run concurrently, for breaching a criminal behaviour order by entering Keighley town centre, on January 27, 2022.
  • He was committed to prison for two weeks, to run concurrently, for breaching a criminal behaviour order by entering Keighley town centre, on February 10, 2022.
  • Williams was committed to prison for four weeks, to run concurrently, for breaching a criminal behaviour order by entering Keighley town centre, on February 1, 2022.
  • Williams was committed to prison for four weeks, to run concurrently, for breaching a criminal behaviour order by entering Keighley town centre, on February 10, 2022.
  • He pleaded guilty to all charges when he was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates' Court on February 17, 2022.
