A ROAD is still closed and a battle against a major mill fire is continuing today.
More than 20 West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service (WYFRS) crews from across the Bradford district and wider areas rushed to a ferocious blaze at Dalton Mill, in the Keighley area yesterday lunchtime.
The whole building was involved and the fire raged on for ages.
Dalton Lane was closed from midday yesterday and remains shut today, between its junction with Bradford Road (A6035) and Worth Bridge Road.
The fire is still showing as ongoing on the WYFRS website.
The last update was at 5pm yesterday.
A spokesperson for WYFRS said crews and specialist units were still tackling the mill fire, at that time.
People were urged to stay away from the area.
