BOOTHS Ilkley has had a transformational makeover bringing new concepts to the store, including a fine wines section, boulangerie bakery counter, a chocolatier counter, and floristry and gift shop.
Retail Development Manager Matt Bruno said: “We’ve worked hard to bring fresh ideas to delight shoppers in the refit, introducing new concepts that bring unique products and expertise to Booths.
“Our focus has been on expertise and craft, that can transform a trip to the supermarket from a chore to a treat.
“Shoppers can come away with a truly special bottle of fine wine, a hand tied bouquet from Leafy Couture, artisan baked bread from our new supplier The Bread Factory, and chocolates from chocolatier Montezuma.
“We believe that shopping at a supermarket shouldn’t be a slog through the aisles, but a pleasure. You can pick up all your essentials, but it’s the treats that make shopping at Booths a delight.”
New concepts include: The Cellar Collection and Local Beer Zone.
Booths has a great reputation for selling wine, buyer Victoria Anderson has curated a special bay of 43 wines including fine wines to shine a light on more unusual wines and hidden gems in the Booths range to engage customers and try something new.
Booths have the largest range of craft beers of any UK supermarket and local brews are on showcase with the Local Beer Zone, where shoppers can find their favourite local brew and discover a range of new beers to try.
New counters: A new bakery counter is added with a wide range of artisanal breads and pastries from new supplier, The Bread Factory alongside a selection of baked goods from Lathams of Broughton and Studio Bakery.
Further additions include a brand-new chocolatier counter chock-full of Montezuma’s extraordinary British chocolate.
Floristry and Gifts: Celebrated Yorkshire wedding florist Sarah Richardson opened Leafy Couture instore in September and is already a popular destination. The concession is restocked daily with bespoke bunches and foliage to arrange at home in a range of seasonal colours and themes from elegant monochromes to punchy bold designs. A range of unique gifts and cards has been added, perfect for popping in to get cards and gifts for family and friends. They also have a curated selection of houseplants and gifts for flower lovers.
