A 21-YEAR-OLD has been fined £660 and handed eight penalty points for driving a Porsche without insurance.
Hamza Bashir, of Boothroyd Lane in Dewsbury, was found guilty of using a motor vehicle on a road or public place without third party insurance at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court on February 14.
It was in relation to an incident on July 25 last year.
The 21-year-old was caught driving a Porsche Cayenne (4x4) on Merrydale Road, near the M606 and Euroway Industrial Estate on the edge of Bradford, without being insured.
Bashir did not appear in court, but was proved guilty by Single Justice Procedure.
He was sentenced on the same day.
The court issued Bashir with eight penalty points and ordered him to pay £816 in total.
This included: a £660 fine, a £66 surcharge to fund victim services, and £90 in costs.
