A HUGE cannabis farm was discovered in a derelict town centre building.
More than 600 plants worth around £800,000 were discovered in the "sophisticated" set-up.
Police were called by Northern Powergrid to a property on Portland Place, Halifax, last Friday after neighbouring properties were experiencing power cuts.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "After sharing information with our partners at Northern Powergrid, suspicions were raised regarding the derelict building in Halifax town centre, which formerly served as offices.
"Officers from Halifax Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) conducted enquiries and gained entry to the property.
"Located across five floors was a sophisticated cannabis farm which how now been dismantled and seized from the building."
Sergeant Joshua Allgood of Halifax NPT, said: “We will continue our relentless disruption tactics and keep working to take drugs off the streets of Halifax.
“Our enquiries remain ongoing to bring those responsible for this production to justice.
“In the meantime, please report any information you have about drugs supply to us or anonymously via Crimestoppers”.
