A BRADFORD man has appeared in court for stealing a television from a city supermarket.
Darren Wood, 46, of Chapel Street, faced one charge of theft from a shop.
He stole a TV, worth £209, from The Peel Centre, Tesco Store, Valley Road, Bradford, on January 25, 2022.
Wood was given a community order, which included an alcohol treatment requirement and a rehabilitation activity requirement.
He pleaded guilty when he was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on February 18, 2022.
