A BRADFORD man has appeared in court charged with stealing cash, a mobile phone and a purse from a woman at a supermarket.
Simon Pollard, 48, of Buttershaw Drive, was charge with one count of theft – other – including theft by finding.
He stole cash, a mobile phone and a purse including its contents to the value of £130 belonging to a woman at Tesco, Great Horton Road, Bradford, on September 7, 2021.
Pollard was fined £200, ordered to pay £130 compensation, £85 costs and a £34 victim surcharge.
He pleaded guilty when he was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on February 18, 2022.
