A MAN whose dog allegedly attacked and injured two women in a park has denied the offences.
Tasawar Hussain Shah, 41, pleaded not guilty to being the owner or person in charge of a dog dangerously out of control causing injury.
Appearing at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court on February 23, Shah, of Calton Street, Keighley, denied the offence and elected to have a trial.
It's alleged that on March 7, 2021, he was in charge of an Akita-Bulldog crossbreed called Turbo in Lund Park, Keighley, which was dangerously out of control.
Turbo was allegedly so out of control that it injured two women in the popular park just outside the town centre.
Following the hearing, Shah was granted unconditional bail and is required to next appear at Kirklees Magistrates' Court on June 21 for the trial.
An Akita-Bulldog cross, also called a Bullkita, is a large breed of dog which can grow up to 50 centimetres tall and weigh almost 40 kilograms, and are said to have a loyal and friendly temperament.
