BREAKFAST, lunch, butties, toasties and ‘posh hot drinks’ are among the tasty offerings on the menu at a friendly cafe in Ravenscliffe Gateway Community Centre.

Breakfast is served from 9.15am to 11.15am and lunch from 12noon to 1pm on Monday to Thursday.

FareShare lunch at the popular Ravens Rest in Thackeray Road, costs between £1 and 1.50 for adults and and 50 per child.

Hot, healthy meals include jacket potatoes and toasties. Puddings are also on sale.

Tea, coffee, ‘posh hot drinks’ including latte and cappuccino and cold drinks are sold throughout the day.

An evening take-out meal, available from Tuesdays to Thursday 3pm to 3.30pm is charged on a ‘pay as you feel’ basis, with 20p extra towards the cost of the container.

“It is a great community cafe.” said cafe kitchen worker Danielle Chamberlain. “We get a lot of local people who meet up here for a meal or a cup of tea, and we welcome people from other parts of Bradford.

“Since we opened up again after the restrictions ended we have been getting busier and we wanted to let people know that we are here and we are open.”
