THE 2022 Bradford Means Business Awards will celebrate success, recognise achievement and highlight the innovative people and companies in the Bradford district who have put the region on the map by boosting the economy.

The passion, determination, tireless energy and skill that goes into running a top-performing company deserves recognition and the award categories are designed to celebrate businesses from across a range of sectors.

The awards final, which is being hosted by the Telegraph and Argus and their partner Bradford Council, will take place later this year at Bradford City Football Club.

It will be attended by hundreds of Bradford district's business elite and will be a celebration of the region's best companies and their employees, a reminder that Bradford is a great place to do business.

There are ten categories, and this year there are two changes, with one new category and one category that has been renamed.

Exporter of the Year is the new category and the Tech Company of the Year has been renamed the Innovation Award.

Existing categories which are returning for 2022 are: SME Business of the Year, Employer of the Year, New Business of the Year, Apprentice of the Year, Manufacturer of the Year, Manufacturing Apprentice of the Year, Family Business of the Year and Social Mobility Award.

To nominate your choice, visit this link on our website, where you can read about each category, the criteria and what our judges are seeking for each individual award.

The deadline for entries is Friday, April 8, and our judges will then assess all nominations in order to draw up a three-strong shortlist for each award.

Each finalist will be invited to attend the glittering awards ceremony where they will find out if they are to take home one of our coveted awards. In addition a Winner of Winners Award will be decided on the night.

The ceremony itself will take place at Bradford City Football Club, and the red carpet will be rolled out for the black tie evening with a drinks reception, meal and entertainment.

Steve Lowe, Sales Director at the T&A and LOCALiQ, said: "Welcome to the launch of the 2022 Bradford Means Business Awards. It's time once again to toast the best in Bradford business and earn the accolade of being the best in class.

"These awards have quickly come back around as the ones in 2021 were delayed until September last year, when we saw 420 of the local business community all gather at the Bradford Hotel for a star-studded celebration and to see our winners crowned.

"For 2022 we are back planning for the event in the summer and will host the awards later in the year at Bradford City Football Club, and already we have a fantastic evening planned with live entertainment, three course dinner and of course the awards themselves.

"We have updated the categories and are inviting entries now so that we can all get excited about our summer event when once again we hope to host the biggest business event in the district and you could be invited!

"Awards are not just about winning, but act as a thank you to your teams and colleagues for their efforts, it helps build your brand and your reputation and if nothing provides positive PR to be nominated, so get your entries in, it only takes a few minutes, and who knows you might be standing on the stage in July taking the applause.

"Bradford Means Business magazine and the T&A in print and online will keep you updated and progress and look at for tickets going on sale as we are likely to sell out quickly.

"Finally, a big thank you to Bradford District Council for being our headline sponsor once again and to all the category sponsors too, these awards could not run without your support.

"Good luck and hope to see you at the award."
