THE Winner of Winners Award is dedicated to finding the best of the best in Bradford.

The award will once again be voted for by those attending the 2022 Bradford Means Business Awards ceremony, who will select from the ten category winners.

So the judges, fellow nominees and specially invited guests will have the power to choose their favourite on the night.

It will be the company or individual with the best overall contribution to business in Bradford that will be chosen as the winner.

Sponsored by The Broadway, the winner will be selected through a live vote, following the success of the first ever such vote in 2019.

In 2020, James Poole, of Solenis, was shocked at winning the Manufacturing Apprentice of the Year at the beginning of the night, nevermind claiming the Winner of Winners Award before the ceremony ended.

Speaking to the Telegraph and Argus again in the immediate aftermath of the announcement, Mr Poole said: "I didn't expect this at all. I'm just surprised that everybody remembered my name."

He stood out for the support he offers other apprentices at Solenis, and for helping develop the firm’s apprenticeship programme.

Mr Poole hopes he can be an example to others to choose an apprenticeship.

He added: "Hopefully, I have inspired people to look into career paths that they may never have considered."
