AN exciting new category is being introduced at the 2022 Bradford Means Business Awards.

The inaugural Exporter of the Year award, sponsored by Excelledia, will go to the business who has shown the ability to spot opportunities, build new markets and grow their export business.

The winner of this award must highlight how they have grown, the value of the overseas business to the company and plans for further growth.

This award category is open to all businesses which trade overseas regardless of size or sector.

Businesses involved in exporting could include services that figure in international trade such as financial, accounting and other professional services, tourism or education.

The award could also include companies whose drivers transport various kinds of freight overseas, including food, medical supplies and other goods that have been so vital in the pandemic.

How have businesses been able to overcome a number of problems this year including shortage of drivers, coping with fuel shortages, additional paperwork and border requirement changes to other European Union countries brought on by Brexit?

If you think your business has been able to shine in the ever-changing world of international trade, please get your nomination in for the first ever Exporter of the Year which will be handed out later this year.
