A BRADFORD woman is to take to the stage later this year in the Mrs Philippines EuroAsia 2022 pageant.
Gigie Fletcher, 43, who works as a court usher at Bradford Magistrates’ Court, will represent Leeds and Bradford, as well as Dipolog.
The grand final will be held at the Lancaster Grand Theatre, Lancaster, on July 30, and will see a showcase of song and dance from the Philippines, putting the spotlight on the country’s culture.
The aim of the pageant is to promote empowerment and give back to fellow Filipinos.
Gigie, who has two children, is helping two charitable causes - one which helps children in orphanages in the Philippines and here, she is supporting frontline workers who risked their lives during the Covid pandemic.
