BRADFORD is set to be a calmer rest of the week ahead, weather wise, in the aftermath of Storm Franklin.

The district has been battered by three storms in the last seven days, bringing strong winds, heavy rain and snow.

But after the yellow weather warning for wind, including Bradford, ended at 1pm today, the weather is due to calm down.

The rest of today will see sunny, cloudy conditions with a top temperature of 10C, according to the Met Office.

Tuesday

Tomorrow will be a mixture of heavy rain and sunny spells.

The spell of heavy rain will be between 9am and 11am, then followed by sunshine and showers with a high of 9C.

Wednesday

A dry day with sunny spells is expected for a high of 9C.

Thursday

A cooler day with a mixture of sunshine and showers, as temperatures only reach a high of 5C.

Friday

A dry and sunny end to the working week with temperatures climbing slightly on the previous day for a high of 8C.

The Weekend

A cloudy, dry weekend is ahead for Bradford with highs of 9C and 10C respectively.

No weather warnings are in place for Bradford for the rest of this week, according to the Met Office.
