A MAN has been jailed for stealing jars of coffee from a Bradford shop.

Kieran Teasdale, 28, of no fixed address, was jailed for a total of four weeks for two charges of theft from a shop.

In the first count, he stole three jars of coffee, worth a total of £15, from Farmfoods Superstore, Oasby Croft, Bradford, on February 9, 2022.

For this offence he was jailed for two weeks and ordered to pay a £128 victim surcharge.

In the second count, Teasdale stole six jars of coffee, worth a total of £30, from the same shop; Farmfoods Superstore, Oasby Croft, Bradford, also on February 9, 2022.

For this offence he was ordered to committed to prison for two weeks, to run consecutively to the first offence.

Teasdale was jailed as the offences were deemed so serious because on prison licence, because the offence was aggravated by the defendant's record of previous offending.

He pleaded guilty to both charges when he was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates' Court on February 16, 2022.
