Showcase Cinemas are offering a chance for someone to win a free year of films at their outlets in 2023.

It will see one customer from Showcase's Inside Member service crowned the UK’s biggest movie fan, based on how many times they visit their local cinema between February 18 and November 30 this year.

Whoever sees the most films in that time period will be declared the winner.

The successful Showcase superfan will be honoured with their very own Hollywood Star-style commemoration inside their favourite Showcase cinema lobby, with a poster or digital screen image bearing their name.

Additionally, the cinephile will win an annual pass for 2023 to watch as many films as they want.

Mark Barlow, Showcase Cinemas' UK general manager,  said: “With a year of amazing blockbusters ahead, we’re introducing a very special reward to our most loyal guest – gifting them an annual Showcase pass for 2023, so they can enjoy next year on us. How to sign up for Showcase Cinemas' Inside Member service?

The Inside Member service is free to sign up for, and gives those on the scheme discounted entry after 7pm on a Sunday and all day on a Monday and Tuesday.

This is alongside exclusive advance screenings and 10% off on selected tickets, snacks and drinks.
