NEW details of a long planned restaurant in the Broadway Shopping Centre have been revealed.

An announcement that Estabulo steakhouse would be opening in an empty unit between Tiffin Grande and Zizzi was first made over two years ago - before the Pandemic began.

There have been few details since then, other than a licensing application for the business to sell alcohol.

Now a new planning application submitted to Bradford Council gives some idea of the huge scale of the restaurant.

An application for signage, the restaurant will now be known as Patron and Sakku, gives potential floor plans of the eatery, and shows that there will be seating for over 300 customers.

Although the ground floor entrance and seating area is only the size of one shop unit the restaurant's first floor would take up much of the space above the neighbouring businesses.

A proposed layout included in the application says there is potential to take on adjacent units, and shows a restaurant layout that has around 320 seats over the two floors.

That does not include a proposed "VIP room" on the first floor.

There will also be a bar area and two "feature walls" for customers to take selfies in front of.

No details of the restaurant's opening date have been announced yet, although a decision on the application for signage is expected next month.
