A YOUTUBE food blogger says Bradford is the best place in the UK for a curry.

The man behind Heyman Food Reviews regularly films his experiences of Bradford eateries for his YouTube channel and is a fan of the city's food scene.

He ranks Kebab Corner, based at Oastler Shopping Centre, John Street and Sultan, Keighley Road, as his favourite places he has visited in Bradford to date.

In the five-minute video on Kebab Corner, called 'The Best Kebab You Have Never Heard Of - This Place Is Hidden Away', he tried the site's donner meat and chips with sauces mayo, chilli sauce and mint chutney and their masala fish.

He has notched up a playlist of 35 reviews and counting from restaurants and takeaways in the Bradford district on his YouTube channel.

These include Deli Bite in Morley Street, Bradford, which he says has a better sandwich meal deal than any supermarket, Greggs or Costa.

In another video, Heyman went to Kashmir Restaurant, also in Morley Street, which is the oldest curry house in Bradford, which specialises in Kashmiri food and opened in 1950.

He also tasted the menu during Ramadan last year at the Sweet Centre, located in Lumb Lane.

Heyman, who is based in Manchester, has also visited Mother Hubbards in Laisterdyke, as he tried out what he dubbed as his 'proper traditional British fish and chips video'.

He also regularly visits establishments in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Sheffield to conduct his food reviews, with every location given rankings and looking for the 'Heyman' top rating.

He said: "Bradford does the best curries in the UK.

"It has an amazing food scene. It's kind of insane.

"It has good eateries and all are reasonably priced. Bradford is an amazing food city.

"You can go to Bradford and have an amazing sushi platter, a few doors down you can have a curry and a few doors down from there you can have some Turkish food.

"I come to Bradford once every two weeks to do a food review.

"I have fallen in love with the city. Bradford and Manchester are my favourite cities in the UK for food and I'm from Buckinghamshire.

"I have picked the best places and it's grown from there.

"My YouTube channel has grown really quickly in the eight or nine months I have been doing it. I now have 25,000 to 26,000 subscribers. Hopefully it will continue to grow."
