BRADFORD has been ranked in the top 10 worst UK places for access to vets, according to a study.

Bought By Many analysed the locations of more than 521,000 cat and dog-owning households in Britain to reveal which towns and cities have the best and worst access to veterinary clinics.

Bradford was ranked as having the seventh worst access to vets in Britain, with an estimated 96 cat and dog owners per vet in the city.

Meanwhile, London has the worst access to vets in the whole of the UK with an estimated 1,294 cat and dog owners per vet in the capital.

Carlisle ranked as the town with the best access to vets clinics, with only four cat and dog owners estimated per vet.
