NORTHERN have advised train passengers not to travel tomorrow due to the approaching Storm Eunice.
The train operator has warned those that do travel to expect "significant disruption" on Friday.
They also add that delays and cancellations are highly likely.
This pre-warning is for the hours between 9am and 9pm on Friday.
Northern say that tickets for the day will be valid today or on Saturday.
Refunds are also available via the point of purchase.

Commenting on the disruption to services, Chris Jackson, regional director for Northern, said: “Storm Eunice will cause widespread disruption across the network tomorrow, affecting all operators in the region.
“As such, we are advising passengers not to travel and to consider whether the journey is necessary.”
Northern operates around 2,000 services a day to more than 500 stations across the North of England.
