POLICE in Ilkley have been cracking down on youth related crime and anti-social behaviour in the town.
In the past two weeks two anti-social behaviour contracts have been issued and one final warning to youths causing a nuisance in Ilkley.
Police say the parents are all supportive and have been offered support where appropriate but insist the anti social behaviour has to stop.

Sergeant Jonny Conlon, of the Keighley Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “Following reports of anti-social behaviour and youth-related crime in Ilkley we have put in place partnership interventions with some of those identified as being involved in these incidents.
“These have included Acceptable Behaviour Contracts, which are an agreement between the young offender and partners and are aimed at preventing further offending behaviour. If the offending continues then these can be used as part of an escalation process towards more formal sanctions.
“Anti-social behaviour and crime will not be tolerated, and we will continue to work with partners to take action against those who blight our communities in this way.”
