FORMER Leeds United boss Steve Evans has been instilled as second favourite for the Bradford City manager's job, according to BetVictor.
Grant McCann remains the number one pick to land the position, vacated by Derek Adams yesterday, at 4/1, followed by Evans at 6/1.
The Scot replaces ex Bantams player Michael Flynn who took the hotseat at fellow League Two suiters Walsall on Tuesday.
It was confirmed assistant Mark Trueman would take the reins for this weekend's visit to Oldham.
He stands at 8/1 for the permanent gig, the same odds as the recently jobless Lee Johnson.
An outside bet could be current FC Halifax Town boss Pete Wild, a 16/1 shout for the bookmakers.
Next Permanent Bradford manager:
• Grant McCann 4/1
• Steve Evans 6/1
• Mark Trueman 8/1
• Lee Johnson 8/1
• Robbie Fowler 14/1
• Pete Wild 16/1
• Neil Warnock 16/1
