A COMMUNITY centre is hosting wellbeing sessions for men across the city of Bradford.

The Sedbergh Youth & Community Centre, in Odsal, invites men who feel they would benefit from some time-out.

Like an authentic ale house – minus the ale – this friendly environment will offer space to have a cup of tea, relax, read the paper or take part in games and activities.

As part of a bigger project - launched to get people back into community life - staff at the centre are keen to encourage men to take advantage of the sessions.

The space is there for men to use how they see fit, whether they just want to get out of the house for an hour to sit quietly and have a cup of tea or use the time to meet like-minded people for a chat and take part in activities.

There’s lots of resources that can be used including cards, dominoes, table football or darts.

Staff will be on-hand for support or to give information about other activities that are available.

The mALE House will run every Wednesday between 12-2pm at the Sedbergh Centre, Huddersfield Road. Admission is £2.00 including refreshments.
