A Swift Recovery? is an illustrated talk by Louise Bentley.
It focuses on the wonders of swifts, swallows and martins, and their amazing migration.
The talk, on Friday March 11 at The Kirkgate Centre, Shipley, looks at how swifts are slowly revealing their secrets to us and how we can all help to reverse their decline
Bradford & Airedale RSPB group hold monthly indoor meetings between September and April .
They also run a series of free local guided walks - usually on the weekend following the meetings. The walks usually last between two and three hours ‘at a very leisurely ‘birdwatching pace’.
You do not need to be a member of the RSPB to join the group at its events, and birdwatching experience is not necessary. The walks are ideal for anyone who wants to pick up tips on birdwatching and identification.
