A BRADFORD man who used another person's bank card in Greggs and a supermarket in the city has appeared in court.
Mohammed Hamzah, 26, of Harewood Street, was in court on one charge of fraud by false representation - Fraud Act 2006.
He went to Springwood Stores, Sainsbury's Broadway and Greggs in Bradford, committed fraud in that he dishonestly made a false representation, namely obtained goods using another person's bank card for yourself, intending to cause loss to that person, or expose that person to a risk of loss.
The incident took place on November 17, 2021.
Hamzah was handed a community order, including 80 hours unpaid work in the community to be carried out over the next 12 months.
He was also ordered to pay £90.75 compensation, a £95 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
Hamzah pleaded guilty to the charge when he was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates' Court on Friday, January 28, 2022.
