A MAN has been fined after being in charge of a vehicle while above the legal limit for alcohol.

Richard Tennant, 38, of Liversedge Row, Great Horton, appeared before Bradford Magistrates' Court last month to be sentenced.

Court documents state that on January 27 last year, Tennant was in charge of the vehicle while in Bowling Cemetery, off Rooley Lane.

He blew 69 micrograms on a test. The limit is 35 micrograms per 100 millilitres of breath.

He previously denied the offence, but changed his plea to guilty.

He was fined £345, ordered to pay £400 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a victim surcharge of £35, amounting to a total of £780.

Tennant also received 10 points on his licence.
