A BRADFORD man has been jailed for stealing from a city shop.
Antonio Dimeo, 37, of High Park Grove, appeared in court for one charge of theft from a shop.
He was committed to prison for one month for stealing property to the value of £95.96 belonging to B&M, Town End, Bradford, on December 21, 2021.
Dimeo was jailed as the offence so deemed serious because the offence was aggravated by being committed while subject to a community sentence, because the offence was aggravated by the defendant's record of previous offending.
He was also ordered to pay a £128 victim surcharge for the one count of theft.
Dimeo pleaded guilty to the charge when he was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates' Court on February 2, 2022.
