A MAN has been in court for stealing over 120 chocolate bars and numerous tins of Spam from shops in Bradford city centre.
Steven Stokes, of Pemberton Drive in BD7, committed four thefts last month.
Three offences occurred on January 26. Stokes stole chocolates, to the value of £200, from Wilkinsons at Rawson Quarter on John Street.
A Remington R6 Shaver, worth £110, was stolen from Asda Living in Foster Square.
A case of Milky Way Magic Stars, 18 tins of Spam and a 20p carrier bag, to a total value of £78.20, were illegally taken from the Sainsburys Local in The Broadway.
The 28-year-old was back at the same Sainsburys on January 30, stealing 120 chocolate bars, of an unknown value.
A Community Order was made against Stokes and he must pay a victim surcharge of £95.
His case was heard on February 1 at Bradford And Keighley Magistrates Court.
