FOUR men have been arrested following an armed robbery at a Co-op store.
Officers were called at about 9.54pm on Wednesday evening to a report that a small group of masked men had entered the store, on Westgate in Honley near Holmfirth, and threatened staff inside which they claimed was a stun gun type weapon.
The men made off with cash leaving staff shocked but unharmed.
Following enquiries four men aged between 31 and 40 were later arrested by officers on suspicion of robbery in connection with the offence.
DI Oliver Coates of Kirklees CID, said: “We are continuing to investigate this offence today and question four men arrested in connection with what took place.
“Anyone who saw suspects arriving at or leaving the scene or who has information about the offence is asked to contact Kirklees CID on 101 referencing crime number 13220060880.
