PEOPLE have been hit with fines at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court for breaching Covid-19 rules.
The cases have only came to court over the last few weeks, but date back to November 2020.
- Marek Tokar, 20, of Back Blythe Avenue, Bradford, was fined £600, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £66 victim surcharge for participating in indoor gathering of two or more persons in the step one area. The incident took place on April 4, 2021 in Bradford.
- Faisal Ali Khan, 21, of Roundhill Street, Bradford, was ordered to pay £110 costs, fined £40 and ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge for failing to comply with direction re events/gatherings in England in order to control coronavirus. The incident took place in Bradford on November 30, 2020.
