A BRADFORD woman has been jailed for a string of offences including stealing bottles of alcohol from a city supermarket.
Louise Hillas, 46, of Ashwood Street, has been jailed for a total of 30 weeks.
The offences included Hillas being committed to prison for six weeks and ordered to pay a £128 victim surcharge for stealing three bottles of alcohol, worth £47.75, from Morrisons, Mayo Avenue, Bradford, on November 24, 2021.
Hillas was committed to prison for four weeks, to run consecutively, for failing to surrender to police/court bail at the appointed time on January 12, 2022.
She was committed to prison for one week after an original offence was re-sentenced. This was for stealing No7 Cosmetics, worth £240, from The Parklands Medical Practice, Park Road, Boots, Little Horton, on February 11, 2021.
She was committed to prison for one week after an original offence was re-sentenced. This was for stealing cosmetics, worth £145, from The Parklands Medical Practice, Park Road, Boots, Little Horton, on January 14, 2021.
A community order made on June 21, 2021 was also revoked at the sentencing hearing.
Hillas pleaded guilty when she was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates' Court on January 21, 2022.
