A FEMALE was trapped following a three vehicle crash on the motorway.
Yesterday, at 7.54pm, emergency services attended the scene which occurred on the M621 westbound, near Birstall, just before the junction with the M62.
The casualty was released by fire service personnel and then transported to hospital by ambulance.
Hunslet Fire Station was the only crew that attended.
A spokesperson from the fire service said: "Road Traffic Collision involving three cars on the M621 westbound, just before the junction with the M62.
"One female was trapped.
"Casualty was released by fire service personnel and then transported to hospital by ambulance."
