HOUSEBUILDER Crest Nicholson has appointed a new regional director as it expands into the North and establishes a Yorkshire division.

The firm has appointed Guy Evans, who will lead its expansion, which forms part of the company’s growth strategy to deliver more than 4,000 new home completions annually by 2026.

The new Crest Nicholson Yorkshire division will be based at a new divisional office at Thorpe Park on the outskirts of Leeds.

Mr Evans has more than 25 years of experience in the housing sector, having worked for Barratt Home and most recently Bellway Homes.

The business expects to acquire its first sites in 2022 and to be marketing and selling homes in 2023, with plans to build 600 homes annually.
