A BRADFORD man has been charged with attempted murder in relation to an attack which left a man with life-changing injuries.

Max Charles Lambert, 33, of Romanby Shaw, Eccleshill, appeared before Leeds Magistrates Court on Monday charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon. 

He was remanded in custody to appear before Leeds Crown Court.

Lambert was charged in relation to an attack on Spinners Close in Huddersfield on the evening of Tuesday, January 18 which left a man in his 20s with severe leg injuries.

The victim suffered non-life threatening, but life-changing injuries and continues to be treated in hospital.

Three men aged 39,38 and 34 were also arrested by detectives investigating the attack, which saw the victim assaulted with a bladed weapon.

The 39 and 38-year-old men remain in custody, while the 34-year-old has been released on bail.
