A BRADFORD businesswoman is through to the finals of this year's AccelerateHER UK awards.

Inspiring female founders have been shortlisted for their aspirational work across the fields of Science and MedTech; FinTech, Data Science and Cybersecurity; CleanTech, Climate and Net Zero and Disruptive Innovation.

One of the 32 finalists is Bradford-based, Olivia Dovernor, a former Bradford Grammar student. She is shortlisted in the Disruptive Innovation category in the north of England region.

Her business, The Student Bubble is an online property marketplace which aims to simplify the student rental market for students and property managers.

he business aims to disrupt the fragmented student housing market by replacing the current search for accommodation with a simplified and effective property marketplace.

The awards are run in partnership with Barclays Eagle Labs and are in their seventh year, although this is the first time the previously Scotland-only event has been extended UK-wide.
