BRADFORD rap sensations Bad Boy Chiller Crew are appealing for fans to back them in the final push for the prestigious MTV Push Award.

The local lads - Gareth Kelly, Kane and Clive - are neck and neck with London artist Thomas Headon for the award.

Fans are being urged to head to the MTV UK Instagram page and 'like' Bad Boy Chiller Crew's post to gift them the prize, recognising the UK and Ireland's hottest up and coming artists.

It would round off a whirlwind 12 months for the Bradford trio, who have gone from social media skits to a sell out tour, attracting huge crowds at festivals over the summer and their very own documentary on ITV2.

Their hit 'Don't You Worry About Me' has racked up 188 million streams, but the lyrical content of their work has drawn some criticism.

They are preparing to set out on another UK tour which kicks off in Leeds in April - but sadly features no Bradford date - and their latest EP titled 'Disrespectful' will be released in February, and have just put out their latest single 'BMW'.

Voting in the MTV Push Award closes at midday on January 24.

Other artists up for the prize are: Ardee, Cat Burns, Enny, Holly Humberstone, Lola Young, Priya Ragu, Shaybo, Thomas Headon, and Wet Leg.
