A manned police speed camera
A 19 YEAR old Skipton man has been ordered to pay a total of £419 for speeding on the A629 at Kildwick.
James Derrick Hey, 19, of The Oval, admitted exceeding the 70mph speed limit on the dual carriageway section of the road on June 11 last year in a Suzuki Swift.
Hey pleaded guilty at Harrogate Magistrates Court where he was fined £300 and ordered to pay costs of £85 and a surcharge of £34. His driving record was endorsed. Magistrates took his guilty plea into account when passing sentence.
