VOLUNTEERS at Keighley and Worth Valley Railway will make an appearance on national television tonight to highlight the work they do for the popular attraction.
The team of civil volunteers will feature on Channel 5's 'Our Great Yorkshire Life' programme at 8pm this evening, to explain the work they do to keep the railway tracks intact.
One volunteer, Joe says he has been going to the attraction since he was 'a kid' and although he has now moved away for work, he still loves returning back to Yorkshire and the railway because it feels like 'home.'

Another, called Bruce, features on the programme, as he has been volunteering at the site since the 70's.
Marketing Manager, Tom Marshall said: "This episode is focussing on our civil engineers, with one of our longest serving volunteers, Bruce installing new gates at Oakworth, and one of our youngest volunteers, Joe is leading the team with track works at Haworth. Most of the staff here are volunteers, there's very few paid staff at the attraction."
Our Great Yorkshire Life is back at the Worth Valley, tonight at 8.00pm on Channel 5.
