A 42-YEAR-old man has appeared in court on multiple charges relating to an incident in Heckmondwike.
Ashaq Sattar is charged with criminal damage over £900 of damage to a Mercedes 200D at Claremont in the town on July 21, 2021.
He is also charged with four counts of assault by beating, of four different women on the same day and location.
A charge of possessing an offence weapon, namely a plank of wood, in a public place on the same day, was withdrawn.
Sattar, of Back Beech Terrace, Fartown, Huddersfield, pleaded not guilty to all charges when he appeared before Leeds Magistrates Court on January 18.
The case was adjourned to June 8 at Kirklees Magistrates' Court for trial.
