ARMED police officers were out in Bradford to arrest a man in connection with a targeted attack which left another individual severely injured.
The planned deployment was carried out in the early hours of this morning in connection with the ongoing investigation into a Section 18 wounding on Spinners Close.
The attack - which left a man in his twenties with major leg injuries - happened in Huddersfield on Tuesday night.
A 33-year-old Bradford man is in custody today.
The Force told the Telegraph & Argus: "A 33-year-old Bradford man is in custody today after being arrested in connection with a targeted attack in Huddersfield on Tuesday night (18/1) which left a man in his 20s with severe leg injuries.
"Armed officers carried out a planned deployment in Bradford on Thursday in connection with the ongoing investigation into a Section 18 wounding on Spinners Close.
"Enquiries remain ongoing today by Kirklees CID."
