A RIDER chased from Holme Wood dumped a scooter in a dual carriageway last night.
Police Community Support Officers (PCSO) had first noticed the individual up to no good on the housing estate.
Bradford South Police then managed to track down the silver and blue scooter in Bierley after the person had made off from Holme Wood.
The rider had dumped the vehicle in oncoming traffic before making a run for it.
At 10.56am, West Yorkshire Police's Steerside Enforcement Team tweeted: "Having made off from PCSOs in Holme Wood @WYP_BradfordS, we managed to track this scooter down to Bierley, unfortunately from the other side of the dual carriageway.
"Rider dumps it in oncoming traffic and makes off on foot.
"Outstanding stolen recovered."
