PROPOSALS to turn a vacant former uniform shop in Bradford city centre into a nail salon have been approved.
The application for 65 Market Street was submitted to Bradford Council by a Mr Tran shortly before Christmas.
The former academia store has been empty for a number of years, and is next to a former deli that has also been vacant for a long period of time.

The application said the as well as the nail salon facilities, the business will include sunbeds and a soft drink bar.
Planning officers said the nail salon use actually fell within the same planning use as a retail unit, and so approved the plans.
Market Street is due to undergo some major changes in the coming years - with plans to pedestrianise the street currently in the planning stages.
