The Bradford district's Conservative MPs have remained silent on their opinions regarding the Prime Minister’s future ahead of a crunch PMQs this lunchtime.
Neither Philip Davies, MP for Shipley, or Robbie Moore, MP for Keighley, responded this morning when contacted regarding Boris Johnson and the countless Partygate allegations.
Mr Johnson faces a tough Prime Minister’s Questions in the House of Commons at midday, with all the Opposition parties furious and demanding his resignation, and chunks of his own party also turning on him.
It follows a TV interview yesterday where the Prime Minister said “nobody told him it was against the rules” when he attended an alleged bring your own booze party at Number 10 Downing Street – his home – in May 2020, during the strict first Covid-19 lockdown, and has maintained he believed the party was a work event.
Johnson’s former right-hand man – and now sworn enemy – Dominic Cummings has since confirmed the event was a social gathering, and that he told the Prime Minister it should not take place, but that he was ignored.
The investigation by senior civil servant Sue Gray into the numerous alleged parties in Downing Street during lockdowns, and Mr Johnson has repeatedly said we must wait until that investigation is complete.

The PM has been accused by former adviser Dominic Cummings that he was warned about the lockdown party being against COVID rules.

The Telegraph & Argus contacted Mr Davies and Mr Moore this morning, hoping to ask them what they thought of the Prime Minister’s most recent “nobody told me” comments and whether they would back a vote of no confidence, but neither MP answered his phone.
The district’s Labour MPs – Naz Shah, Judith Cummins and Imran Hussain – have all repeatedly demanded that Boris Johnson resign as Prime Minister over Partygate.
