POLICE have released an image of a male they would like to speak to after an 11-year-old boy was robbed of his electric scooter in West Yorkshire last week.
The incident happened on Thursday, Janurary 13 at the Town End junction of Snapes Fold, Huddersfield, at around 5:15pm.
The child was walking up Town End towards the Co-op when he was approached by a male who grabbed him by the arm and threw him off the scooter before taking it and making off down Almondbury Bank.
The suspect is described as a black male, aged in his teens, about 5ft tall, wearing a full Nike tracksuit and a black durag on his head.
The stolen scooter is described as all black with a red trim on the wheels. There is an "A" scratched into the stem of the scooter and it also has general wear and tear scratches.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, recognises the man in the image or who may have information about the offence or person responsible is asked to contact Kirklees CID by calling 101, quoting reference number: 13220021460.
