A NUMBER of people have been hit with fines at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court for breaching Covid-19 rules.
The cases have only came to court over the last few weeks, but date back to February last year.
- Muhammed Hussain, 30, of Lawrence Drive, Bradford, was fined £1,760, ordered to pay a £176 victim surcharge and £100 costs for being a person living in tier 4 area, leave/were outside of place where living, without reasonable excuse, on February 28, 2021.
- Mohammed Riaz, 56, of Musgrave Grove, Bradford, was fined £1,173, ordered to pay a £117 victim surcharge and £90 costs for participating in a gathering of two or more people in private dwelling/indoors in tier 4 area, at Bolton, on February 21, 2021.
- Andrius Varnelis, 40, of Brookfield Road, Bradford, was fined £440, ordered to pay £90 costs and a £44 victim surcharge for being a person living in tier 4 area, leave/were outside of place where living, without reasonable excuse, on February 14, 2021.
