A BRADFORD burglar has been jailed for more than three years.

Nicholas Baldwin, 23, of Coates Street, Little Horton, broke into a house on Park Dale, Menston, and stole car keys, £130 in cash and a bank card from the property.

He also stole an Audi S3 which was parked at the same property. The incident took place on October 30, 2021.

He was jailed for three-and-a-half years and disqualified from driving for 33 months at his sentencing hearing, held at Leeds Crown Court on Wednesday, January 12, 2022.

Baldwin was convicted of three charges; burglary dwelling and theft - no violence; theft of motor vehicle and Use a motor vehicle on a road/public place without third party insurance.

West Yorkshire Police - Shipley posted about Baldwin's sentencing on its Facebook page: "Following a burglary in Menston back in October 2021, where a vehicle was stolen in the offence, enquiries linked a male named Nicholas Baldwin as being involved in the offence.

"Baldwin appeared at Leeds Crown Court on Wednesday, January 2022 for Burglary Residential and Theft of M/V.

"He was sentenced to three-and-half years custody and 33 months disqualification from driving."

Baldwin appeared at an earlier hearing at Leeds Magistrates' Court in November last year.
