A WOMAN has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a collision in Cottingley this afternoon.
Cottingley Moor Road had to be cordoned off after the incident, which involved two vehicles.
It is believed to have happened close to Cottingley Village Primary School.
This evening, a West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "At 1.31pm today police received a call from the ambulance service advising a person was trapped, following a two-vehicle collision on Cottingley Moor Road, Bingley.
"A woman, who was driving one of the vehicles, has been taken to hospital where she has been found to have serious injuries.
"No other injuries were reported.
"Enquiries are continuing at the scene."
